Number 9: What will the other mothers think?
Now I am not the type to care what other people think too much but there is a huge stigma attached with smoking while pregnant. If you are pregnant and smoking you are most likely closet smoking at this point because, honestly, you are afraid of what others may think. Quit smoking to relieve yourself of the hassle.

Smoking and Pregnancy-Is it Safe to Quit Smoking “Cold Turkey” During Pregnancy
Smoking and pregnancy; two words that should never go together. But the truth is that there are many women who are pregnant and still smoking. Many of these women understand the danger smoking poses to their baby and they want to quit but are not sure of the best way to do it. Is quitting smoking “cold turkey” a viable option for pregnant women?
Actually quitting cold turkey is a valid way to quit smoking during pregnancy. It is all natural and does not involve any chemicals that could harm the baby. Unlike smoking cessation medication or nicotine replacement therapies (like the patch) quitting cold turkey will not harm the baby at all.
The bad part about quitting smoking during pregnancy cold turkey is that it really does not have a very good success rate. Some studies have shown that people who try to quit cold turkey only have a 5% chance of succeeding and it can take several attempts to “stick”. Pregnant women just do not have that kind of time, they need to quit smoking as quickly as possible.
The best bet for expecting mothers is to try hypnotherapy, specifically NLP based hypnotherapy to quit smoking while pregnant. NLP hypnotherapy is all natural with no harmful chemicals, but it has a much higher success rate than quitting cold turkey. It also works fast, often one session of listening to an NLP based audio recording is all it takes to kick the smoking habit.
